How To Measure

Important Information about measuring your windows!

All measurements are to be in millimetres (mm)

Always measure each window individually, even if you think they are the same.
There can be small differences from one window to the next.

Always use a steel tape measure, making sure that it is straight and tight.

Just Roller Blinds will make any deductions needed, always supply exact measurements.

Inside Mount (also know as recess or reveal fit)

Before measuring look for any obstacles inside the window frame such as window winders or large window frames that will affect the blind when it is being lifted up and down, at least 60mm clearance is required.

Also look at what side you would like the operating chain to be on, making sure that you can access the chain without pulling the chain off to one side to use it.

Once you have determined that the blind can be mounted inside the window frame measure from one side of the window frame to the other at the top of the window where the blind will be mounted (fig.1) to give you the width.

For the height of the window measure from the top to the bottom inside the window frame(fig.1)

Outside Mount (also know as Architrave or Face fit)

Measure the top architrave where the blind will be mounted from one side to the other (fig.2) for the width and then from the top to the top architrave to the bottom of the bottom architrave for the height (fig. 2).
